Keith Collins, 65, of Enid, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025. He was born on November 27, 1959, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to Howard and Gwen Collins.
Keith married Cathy Smith, and together they were blessed with one daughter, Carrie. Though they later divorced, they remained close friends throughout his life.
In 1996, Keith moved to Enid, where he built a life centered around faith, family, and quiet acts of kindness. He retired from his work at First Presbyterian Church in Enid, where his dedication and gentle spirit were deeply appreciated. In his free time, Keith was also a painter and handyman who many turned to for their needs.
Keith loved the beach, finding peace and joy in the sound of the waves. Above all, his greatest happiness came from watching his grandson play sports. A quiet soul with a giving heart, Keith touched the lives of many through his kindness and generosity.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Collins and Gwen Jones, and his sister, Rhonda Novotney.
He is survived by his daughter, Carrie Bradley, and her husband Trent of Enid; his sisters, Roxanne Pollard and husband Barry of Waukomis, and Margo Sholtz of Dover, Ohio; his beloved grandson, Koldyn Schapansky of Enid; step-grandchildren Laken, Keller and Blaney Bradley; nephews Jeff King of Waukomis, Jim Sholtz and wife Hillarie of Strasburg, Ohio, and Stephen Novotney of Fayetteville, North Carolina; nieces April King of Bixby, Oklahoma, and Stephanie Stephens and husband David of Edmond, Oklahoma; along with many other family members in North and South Carolina who will miss him dearly.
Keith will be remembered for his quiet strength, his generous heart, and the love he had for his family-especially his daughter and grandson.
