Kenneth Compton Obituary
Mr. Compton was born on May 14, 1951 in Griffin Ga, to the late Charles Compton Sr., and the late Opal Powers Compton. He worked for the William Carter Company as an Embroidery M echanic for many years and was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Carol Brooks Compton of Thomaston Ga, daughter Mrs. Maegan (Robert) Gardner of Trenton Ga, brother Mr. Charles (Pat) Compton Jr. of Hampton Ga, sisters Jeanette Compton of Griffin Ga, Mrs. Deborah (Bryan) Mathews of Griffin Ga, grandchildren Cole (Ashley) Gardner, Alexis Gardner, Zoe Gardner, great grandchildren Cove Scruggs, Lakeland Gardner, nephews Jeff Compton, Jeremy Compton, Daniel (Emily) Compton, Marc (Heidi) Long, Matthew (Suzanne) Compton.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday February 17, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. from New Harmony Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Monday February 16, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
