Kenneth R. Covington

Kenneth R. Covington (Kenny) passed away, surrounded by his family, on March 16, 2026 after a short illness. Kenny was born on February 16, 1959 to Kenneth and Blanche Covington, in Lehi, Utah.

Kenny attended school and grew up in Lehi, Utah. He worked many years in the construction business as a heavy equipment operator. After 30 years of dedication to his work, he became a full time father to his two grandkids, Riley Holman and Jaxon Holman.

Kenny's humor brightened everyone around him. He loved his cars, family, and fishing. He also loved the outdoors and his fur-babies.

Kenny married the love of his life, Carri Holman, on February 4, 1994. He had one daughter, Ashley Covington and six bonus children, whom he loved with a full heart. We are saddened by his passing, but know he's no longer in pain.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Carri Holman Covington, daughters; Ashley (Mark) Covington Lenhart, Mindy (Matt) Holman Fenn, Marci Holman, Ashley (Jake) Richardson, and sons; Chase (Kristen) Holman and Chad Holman. Kenny is also survived by his siblings: Ronnie, Frank, Scott, Doug, and Rosalie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, two nieces, and a close family friend, Justin Du Jardin.

We would like to thank family and friends who have supported us during this difficult time. Also, we express appreciation for Inspirational Hospice for providing care up until his last day.

Family and friends may call during a viewing held Monday, March 23, 2026, from 6-7:30pm at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi, Utah.

Interment and grave dedication will be announced at a later date.
