Mr. Kenneth Ray Cox, 86, entered into the more immediate presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 30, 2023, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Kenneth was born on March 28, 1937, in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Garland Sam Cox and Edith Sumner Cox. He was employed with R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, retiring after 27 years. Kenneth was a hard worker who often worked multiple jobs to support his family. Kenneth was a lifelong member of Trinity Moravian Church. He enjoyed tinkering with electronics and fishing on the coast with his brother-in-law. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Alice Cox, who passed away in 2007. Kenneth is survived by his children, Lynn Davis, Alan Cox, Jean Wilson, and Carol Anders; several grandchildren; and many other extended family members. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trinity Moravian Church, 220 East Sprague Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
