Kenneth Albert DeAngelis, age 79, of Norristown, sadly passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital. Born in Norristown, Kenneth was the beloved son of the late Albert "Bert" DeAngelis and the late Mafalda (nee Piermarini) DeAngelis, the devoted husband of Nancy J. (nee Cordingley) DeAngelis since 1994, the loving father of Kenneth A. DeAngelis, Jr. (Christina) and step-father of Russell Moyer III (Jennifer) and the proud grandfather of Sterling DeAngelis, Harrison DeAngelis, Deborah Moyer and Samantha Moyer.
Mr. DeAngelis was a graduate of Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School, Class of 1964 and proudly enlisted in The U.S. Air Force in 1965. While in the Air Force, he served at Wurtsmith Air Force Base in Michigan, earned the rank of Sergeant, and was awarded The National Defense Service Medal and The Air Force Good Conduct Medal. After his time in the service, Kenneth worked for over 30 years for March Kneas Lumber Yard and then he became a mail clerk for DMW Worldwide for the last 12 years of his career. He will be remembered by many as an avid Phillies and Eagle fan or his trips to Las Vegas and frequently could be found on one of the local golf courses enjoying a round with friends.
Arrangements are by The Bernard S. Gutkowski Funeral Home, Swedesburg, PA 610-275-6385, Keith J. Murphy, F.D., www.gutkowskifuneralhome.com. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
