Kenneth C. Ehlert was lovingly taken home by his faithful Savior on June 2, 2025 at the age of 93 in Buchanan, MI. Kenneth was born October 2, 1931, in Three Oaks, MI, to the late Harold and Margaret Ehlert.
Kenneth graduated from Buchanan High School. After high school, Kenneth honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. Upon returning from service, Kenneth began a fulfilling career at Clark Equipment Company.
Kenneth's heart was truly at home, with his beloved wife, D'Elda Rae (Phoenix) Ehlert, who predeceased him on April 22, 2022. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, welcoming their children Scott (Sharon) Ehlert, Johna (Jim Klug) Ehlert, Cindy Schram, and Laurie (Dale) Moore. Kenneth is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchild, as well as his brother, Larry (Suzanna) Ehlert.
A devout member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Buchanan, Kenneth's faith was a guiding light in his life. His involvement in the church community was a reflection of his belief in service, kindness, and the importance of fellowship.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 9, 2025 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 212 West Front St. Buchanan, MI. Palmer Funeral Home – Hoven Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
