Kenneth "Ken" Eugene Foth (86) of Topeka, Kansas passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on October 12, 2025, following a short illness.
Ken was born to Ervin and Laura (Peters) Foth in Gossel, Kansas, on December 22, 1938. His childhood was spent around Hillsboro and Walton, Kansas, where he was raised alongside his younger siblings, Delores, Lois, Margie, and Edward, and his late siblings, Wanda and Marvin. Ken's early years in Kansas instilled in him the values of hard work, perseverance, and community spirit throughout his life.
Following his education at Walton High School and a brief time at Bethel College, Ken began a dedicated career with the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT). Starting as a clerk, his strong work-ethic allowed him to steadily advance through the ranks. He proudly retired as the Area Engineer for District 1, Area 4. Ken was also actively involved in his community, volunteering his time to serve on the Osage County Fair Board and debating projects with his subdivision's Homeowners' Association. Ken pursued his interests with enthusiasm, whether it was hosting the cherished Fourth of July celebration, exploring the country during his many road trips, or frequenting the Bingo Hall.
Ken is survived by his wife Maxine Foth; his children Eugene Foth, Sharon Bundy, and Kevin Foth (Amy); his step-children, Fred Reber (Vicki), Ronald Reber (Sabra), and Kerin Brock, and his beloved furry companion - Tory. He was preceded in in death by his step-son Jason "Terry" Reber. Ken was a grandfather to eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
In accordance with his wishes, Ken has been cremated. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a future date. No public services will be held.
