Obituary of Kenneth E. Frazier
Kenneth Edward Frazier, 89 was called to be with The Lord in the early morning hours of October 11th 2023, which was his ultimate goal in life when it was his time. For that reason we know he's in a better place, even though he will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
Kenneth also known as Ken was born on September 22nd 1934 in Portland, Oregon to his mom Beulah Shjandemaar and father Edward Frazier. He had one older sister Beverly. Ken spent his early childhood in Bellingham, Washington. His family eventually moved to the Rosehill, Kirkland Washington area where he grew up and spent most of his adulthood. He attended Lake Washington High School, graduated in 1953 and met his High School sweetheart Patricia. They married and had seven children, Keran, Susan, Cathy, Kenneth Jr., David, LuAnn, and Richard. They were married for over twenty years before they divorced. In the late 70's he met his second wife Jean who he had another daughter with, Michelle (Shelley). They were only married for a short time. In the early 80's he met and married his third wife Mary who he had known right away that she was the love of his life (3rd times a charm, right?). They never had any children of their own together but he gained three more step children, Scott, Troy and Jodie. He also gained sisters and brothers. They both took on each other's children and families as their own and he was a great step father and brother in law. All his children had him at different stages in life, some good, some bad but no matter what he was a wonderful father, it was one of his biggest roles in life.
Ken and Mary were married for over forty years before he passed away. Their love for each other is eternal.
He played baseball in his younger years with his father being one of his coaches and he also coached his sons baseball in the Kirkland Little League. Ken was a shy man who liked to keep to himself especially as he got older. He was very much a man's man, Jack of all trades type of guy. If you gave him pieces of wood he would build a house, a deck, outdoor yard decorations or bird houses. He could build almost anything. He was also a master at building and growing a garden. His mom had a beautiful garden at her home in Kirkland where he would tend to it daily. He had a green thumb for plants and gardens and knew exactly what to do. He had a funny sense of humor too, or so he thought. As he got older he became more of a religious man and wanting to please the Lord, Mary and him attended church on Sunday's, and he read his Bible everyday. He loved hershey bars (in the freezer was even better), caramels, honestly the man loved every sweet treat there ever was, wrigleys gum, his coffee, a good piece of toast, golfing when he was able, listening to good old real country music, watching the Mariners, Seahawks, Golf, old John Wayne movies and even liked Nascar.
Ken worked in the warehouse at Carnation Dairy which eventually turned into Foremost for many years before he had to retire.
Kenneth was known to his friends mostly as Ken, he was also known to his family as a husband, Dad, Daddy, Papa, Grandpa, Uncle, Cousin and a baby brother. He loved his family very much, every single one of them.
Ken was proceeded in death by his mother Beulah Shjandemaar, father Edward Frazier and his daughter LuAnn Frazier also known by her family as Lulu.
Ken is survived by his wife Mary Frazier, sister Beverly Boyce, brother in-law Doug Boyce, daughter Keran Frazier, daughter Susan Dahl, son in-law Les Dahl, daughter Cathy Frazier Shinn, son Kenneth Frazier Jr, daughter in-law Nicole Frazier, son David Frazier, son Richard Frazier, daughter in-law Dana Montgomery, daughter Michelle (Shelley) Frazier-Khorrami, son in-law Simon Khorrami, step-son Scott Osburn, step-son Troy Skinner, step daugher in-law Winifred Skinner and step-daughter Jodie Cragin.
He had many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
"For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lords."

You will be missed by all who knew and loved you. May heaven bring you the peace and serenity you deserve.

There will be no service but more of a friends and family gathering at a later date to honor and remember the wonderful man he was and for those who loved him to come together.
