He was born to Ray and Christine Freeman in Paris, Tx. He graduated from Honey Grove High School. He met and married the love of his life Retha Freeman on November 11, 1977. They shared a lifetime of love and great memories. They had two daughters Stacey McCleskey of Paris, Tx and Sharon Yoder of Direct, Tx.
