Kenneth Eugene Gibbs

Kenneth Eugene "Kenny" Gibbs, 54, of Purdon, passed away on November 5, 2025, in Dallas. He was born on March 6, 1971, in Olympia, Washington, to Howard Kenneth Gibbs and Mary Ellen Cole Gibbs.
Kenny loved the simple joys of life - being outdoors, checking on his cows, and spending time with his family. He had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren, who brought him endless pride and happiness. A devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Kenny also had a passion for square-body trucks, country music (especially Freddy Fender), and building or fixing just about anything. Some of his favorite moments were spent sitting around a fire with his favorite beverage, surrounded by the people he loved most.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Mary Ellen Gibbs, and three beloved grandbabies - Zaileigh, Magnolia, and Cohen Eugene.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Meryl Gibbs; children Markus Dillon and Collen Gibbs, Miranda Gibbs, and Lacie and Tristan Perry; grandchildren Slader Anderson Gibbs, Ryker Dillon, Lakyn Perry, Lennox Perry, Amzie Dillon, and Kayden Dillon; as well as his mother-in-law Jennifer Fleeman and father-in-law R.C. Fleeman.
Kenny will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His laughter, love of family, and genuine heart will forever remain in the memories of those he touched.
