Emma Jane Gibbs

Emma Jane Gibbs, age 39, of the South Toe community was taken from us unexpectedly on Sunday, November 2nd 2025. Emma was a daughter of Jeffery and Harriet Taylor Gibbs. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: James and Emma Burleson Gibbs; and her maternal grandmother, Lillian W. Taylor.
Although she was taken far too soon Emma leaves behind a legacy of kindness, joy and love that will never be forgotten. She had a gift of making everyone she met feel like an old friend. Her warm smile, easy laughter and caring spirit drew people to her wherever she went. Emma was happiest when surrounded by family and friends and always made sure everyone around her felt included, appreciated and loved.
Emma found peace and happiness in tending to her garden, she loved to dance and celebrate every little moment. She was especially big on birthdays, always making them special for others with her thoughtfulness and enthusiasm. Emma was known for her generous heart; she was always ready to lend a helping hand, listen without judgment and stand by those she loved with unwavering loyalty. Her kindness, compassion and bright spirit touched countless lives.
Those who will forever hold her in their hearts in addition to her parents are her significant other, Blake Mace; her children: Alexis and Ethan Gibbs, Jacob and Emmett Deyton; sisters: Sarah Hensley (Robbie) and Nicole Perroni (Clayton); nieces and nephews: Raylee, Colton, Mabel, Waylon, Strummer and Ella; Emma's lifelong friend, Elizabeth Kay Masten.
A memorial service to celebrate Emma's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 15th, 2025 at White Oak Creek Independent Baptist Church.
Though her time here was far too short, Emma's memory will live on in the beauty of her garden, in every shared laugh and in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
