O B I T U A R Y
Kenneth G. Howard of Greensburg, Kentucky son of the late Oron Howard and Mary A. Hickey Howard, was born on Monday, October 10, 1949 in California and departed this life on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was 75 years, 11 months, and 18 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Ninth and O Baptist Church. He worked in production for Reynolds Metals for 30 years and was an avid motorcycle rider in his free time.
He served our country honorably during the Vietnam War, having served in the United States Army from 1967-1970.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Lou Vance Howard, having united in marriage on October 13, 1969.
Other survivors include two sons: Brandon Quinn Howard of Greensburg, Joshua Howard of Louisville; four daughters: Chianne Lain of Columbia, Chaylin Thompson of Lebanon, Cadi Bennett, Chloe Howard both of Campbellsville; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother: Mike Howard of Oklahoma; a sister: Cathy Crawford of San Diego; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters: Darlene and Joyce.

Honoring his wishes, cremation was chosen. There will be no formal services at this time.
Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Hope for Homes Ministries which can be made at the funeral home.
