Kenneth Dwayne "Kenny" Johnson

Kenneth "Kenny" Dwayne Johnson's life began on November 12, 1949 in El Dorado, KS; the son of Nolan and Anna Mae (Baum) Johnson. Kenny graduated from Butler County Community College. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. Kenny served tours In Vietnam from March of 1971 through March of 1972 and received an honorable discharge on May 12, 1972. Kenny enjoyed dirtbikes and motorcycles. He loved sports and always looked forward to supporting Butler County Community College Football. He enjoyed gadgets and gizmos and how they work. Kenny was funny and entertaining. He loved entertaining his grandchildren with his tricks and shenanigans at the dinner table. Kenny's family includes his wife, Carol of El Dorado; children Kris (David) Hasting of El Dorado, Keith (Shera) Jones of Wichita, Karen Jones of El Dorado, Kirk (Kristy) Jones of Rogers, AR; grandchildren Blake, Brandon, Brooke, Brady, Breanna, Boston, Kyle, Ashlie, Gabbie, Micah, Levi, Isaac, Abigail; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings Kevin Johnson, Nola Holmes. Kenny passed away on November 20, 2025 at his home in El Dorado. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Craig Johnson. Graveside services will be held at Winfield Veteran Cemetery on Friday, December 12 at 11am. Military honors will be rendered as well.
