Kenneth Lamb Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Easton on Feb. 26, 2026.
Kenneth "Kenny" Andrew Lamb Sr., 77, of Easton, passed away in his home surrounded by his family. Kenneth is predeceased by his wife, the love of his life of 49 years, Veronica Lamb. Kenneth was born in Boston and raised in Mattapan. Kenny spent a brief time living with his brother and family in Belfast, Northern Ireland. This experience became a core part of him and fostered his love of Ireland. Kenneth was the son of the late Edward Lamb (Ret Sgt BPD) of Boston and Alice (Megarry) Lamb of Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Kenneth was first and foremost committed to the love of his life, Veronica, "Nick." Ken cherished his near 50 years of marriage and dedication to his wife and looked forward to their reunion in heaven. Ken was loved and adored by his children, grandchildren, all his family and friends, and especially his best friend and grandson, Matthew Lucier. Surrounded by family on any occasion was where his heart was. Times on Newfound Lake, spent with family, was his happiest place on earth. His family was his world. Our father was fierce, protective and loyal. He was loved deeply by all his children and grandchildren.

Ken served as a Boston Police Officer for 43 years, following in the footsteps of his late father, uncle and other family members. He retired at the rank of Sergeant Detective and was Commander of the Auto Theft Task Force. Ken was the recipient of the Medal of Honor and Medal of Valor, as well, too numerous awards and commendations to list. He was a professional in every way and a true gentleman. Kenny or 'Sarge' was incredibly respected and admired by his peers. The stories of Kenny or Dad sound out of this world, however, are quite real and true.

Kenny - Dad - Poppy is survived by his three children and their spouses, Colette Lamb-Lucier and her husband Shawn of Raynham, Andy Lamb and his wife Kelly of Easton, Marc Lamb and his wife Meredith of Easton - 8 grandchildren, Matthew Lucier, Michael Lucier, Marc Lucier, Thomas Lamb, Sophia Lamb, Karley Lamb, Mallory Lamb and Katerina Lamb, and 1 great grandchild, Marc Andrew. Kenny has reunited with his sister Cindy Ahern and is survived by his siblings, Edward Lamb, June Morrissey, Brian Lamb and Nancy O'Brien.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. from Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase Street, Easton. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Easton. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 4-7 p.m.
