Kenneth Lang Obituary

Kenneth Renard Lang was born in Mobile, Alabama on May 29, 1951, to the late Leon Lang, Sr and Jamie Hodges Lang. He was the middle son of all boys and known to most as "K-Bull."
Kenneth was a proud class of 1969 graduate of Williamson High School. After graduation, he was drafted to become a member of the United States Army. While in the Army, he served time in Vietnam. Shortly after his return home, the war in Vietnam ended. In his early career, he worked in Seattle, Washington, Mobile, Alabama and Montgomery, Alabama in the sheet metal industry. He also worked as a Section 8 Inspector for the Prichard Housing Board for a number of years. His career took off when he joined the United States Army Corps of Engineers where he worked his way up to a Senior Hydro Power Plant Operator at the Jim Woodruff Power Plant in Chattahoochee, Florida for 21 years until his retirement.
Kenneth was a storyteller who had a story about everything. He loved to share some of his fondest memories of growing up "Down the Bay" and playing football on New Jersey Street "The Boulevard". He was always so proud to talk about his upbringing and where he was from. Kenneth also had a love for crossword puzzles and building model trucks. His passion for puzzles later lead him to write and publish a crossword puzzle of his own, titled "The Little World Traveler" which earned him the title of author.
In 1983, Kenneth married (as he would say), the "cute young lady on her bike from Texas Hill" named Rosalyn White. The couple was together for 42 years. Their union produced 2 beautiful children, Jamie and Kenneth II.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his son, Kenneth II, his parents and brothers, Leon Lang, Jr and Elvin Lang, Sr.
Cherishing his memories in their hearts forever will be his loving and dedicated wife, Rosalyn White Lang; his world, his daughter, Jamie Lang (Marcus) Mark, Atlanta, GA; daughter, Kimberly Cleveland, Mobile, AL; two adoring granddaughters, Jolie Alise Mark and Journie Alivia Mark, Atlanta, Ga; grandson, Donovan Cleveland, Tuscaloosa, AL; brother, Thomas (Marjorie) Hines, Mobile, AL; two brothers-in-law, Walter White, Mobile, AL, Andre White, Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law, Geraldine Lang, Montgomery, AL, several nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, best friend since the 2nd grade, Mixon McCants, "Down the Bay" partners and a crew of "special daughters."
