Kenneth Lema Obituary
Born in Providence, Kenny grew up in Pawtucket, Rhode Island then moved to South Kingstown, Rhode Island where he build his life filled with many friends and his love of the ocean. Ken owned Ken's Construction for the last 35 years. He was a friend of Bill W. By anyone's measure, Ken had a deeply compassion heart and would help anyone at any time of day to ensure they had what they needed.
Ken's passions in life were his friends and family, football, music, especially live bands, billiards, spending time on his boat and laughing. He had an infectious positive attitude that carried him through many of life's challenges.
He is survived by his son Kenneth Polion, Sister Lisa Young-Daluz (Robert)), Brothers Albert Roderick (Patricia) of Orlando, FL,, Manny Roderick (Kathy) of East Providence, Aunts Delores Lema and Francis Lundgren, two grandchild and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Ken was pre-deceased by brother Raymond Roderick and Michael Lema. He is also the father of the late Ryan Alcroft and Crystal Polion.
Friends and family are welcome to a Celebration of Life at Fagan Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 5 – 7 p.m.
Sincere appreciation to Hope Hospice and the nurses at South County Hospital for their kind and gentle care in Kenny's final days.
In lieu of flowers, please remember Kenny by performing an act of kindness of your choice to someone in need.

I met Kenny in February 2007. He was the first person I met when I moved to Narragansett after growing up in the city, I didn't know anyone from south county. It all began with Kenny. We talked about his Red 1991 Mercedes 500SL for a good couple hours. He was Always looking to help out any newcomer back then.
