Norman K Leonard Jr., 63, of Warwick passed away on Monday, August 4th at Brigham & Women's Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the Husband of Denise A (Gaudreau) Leonard and proud father to Stephanie Hitchener.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Norman K. and Rosalie (Francis) Leonard. A lifelong resident of Warwick, Norman was a Supervisor at American Surplus, Inc. for twenty-five years. He proudly served in the United States Army.

Along with his wife and daughter, he leaves behind his brother, Eric Leonard of Pascoag and sister, Sharon Ferrara of Warwick. He also leaves behind his son-in-law, Derek Hitchener.

Norman enjoyed early morning drives in his Porsche. He took immense pride in using his trade skills to help his family and friends, always eager to pitch in on a project.

Calling hours have been respectfully omitted. A private service with military honors will be held at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery. For condolences, please visit www.trainorfh.com.

Sorry for your loss I still remember getting into trouble for throwing water balloons over the roof of your parents house and am glad I was able to see you the last time I was back east
