Myrna E. Andrews (Tefft), 87, of West Greenwich, RI passed away on Friday, October 3rd. She was the loving wife of the late Aubrey W. Andrews Jr. for 60 years. Born in Coventry, RI, on August 13, 1938, raised in Exeter and moved to West Greenwich in 1959. She was the daughter of the late Everett L. and Beatrice (Brown) Tefft.

Myrna worked in the Exeter- West Greenwich School district for over 20 years. She started as a bus driver, then worked as a special education aid, and then worked as an administrative assistant in the guidance office until she retired in 1997. Myrna served on the West Greenwich Town Council for 14 years and had perfect meeting attendance. She served on many different committees for the Town of West Greenwich and was a charter member of the West Greenwich Historical Preservation Society. Myrna was also actively involved in 4-H. She was one of the founding leaders of the Blueberry Patchers 4-H Club and served on the RI 4-H Club Foundation.

Myrna loved spending time in her yard, tending to her flower gardens. She also loved animals and showed Guernsey dairy cattle as a child. Myrna was well known for her 4th of July party, held annually for 64 years. Most of all, she loved taking care of her family.

She leaves her children Aubrey Andrews (Karen) and Susanna Camacho (Michael); grandchildren, Elizabeth Ritchotte (Andrew), Lauren Andrews, Michael Camacho, Benjamin Camacho, and William Camacho; great-grandchildren, Laila, Charlotte, Thomas, and Wesley; siblings, Janice Falcone, Russell Tefft, Everett Tefft, Melody Greene, James Tefft, Dody Boeglin, David Tefft, William Tefft, and Martha Holland, many nieces and nephews, and her dog Suzie and cats Daisy and Cutie.

She was preceded in death by six siblings; Ronald Tefft, Gary Tefft, Tina Pierce, Marylou Whitford, Raymond Spetrini and Joyce Phillips.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in deceased's name to Rhode Island 4-H Club Foundation.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 1pm at the Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Exeter, RI.
