Michele Jean Dixon, 54, of Thistle Drive, Cranston, RI, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Kent Hospital.

Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late William G. "Garry" Dixon, Jr., and the late Frances C. (Romano) Dixon.

Michele attended Meeting Street School where she quickly won the hearts of those she met and made lifetime friendships. She was a resident of West Bay Residential for over 30 years. The staff and residents became an extension of her family. She made lifetime friendships with caregivers and residents. This past year, Michele and a childhood friend took a vacation to Florida together. Her family meant everything to her. She always looked forward to Sunday lunch at her parent's house. Michele was quick to let you know about her brother Garry who she adored. When she became an aunt, Michele always looked forward to going over to see her Liam and Jillian. She was so proud to be an auntie and attended many of their events. Pictures of them were always on her. Michele loved family gatherings, especially when karaoke and dancing would be a part of the festivities.

Being with family was where Michele would rather be. Having a large palate, Michele always looked forward to a great meal followed by ice cream. Wherever she went, there was always a can of Coke that traveled with her. Michele was passionate about the arts. She loved going to concerts where she could dance the night away. You could often find Michele at Mustang Sallys, Mardi Gras, or Mishnock Barn dancing with her friends. Michele started up MD Design where she painted many pictures and sold them at various venues throughout the state. She attended the Summer Special Olympics every year. Michele had a way of making everyone feel special when they were in her presence. She always could light up the room with her smile. Michele had a way of bringing out the best in others. Michele had a full life surrounded by people who loved her and with whom she loved. Our Angel on Earth has now ascended to Heaven where she will again unite with her mom and dad.

She is survived by her brother, William G. "Ree" Dixon, III, and his wife Tracy of Foster; her nephew Liam and niece Jillian, of Foster; Uncle Kevin and Auntie Linda Dixon of Johnston and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick, RI. Relatives and friends may gather at the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., and then will process to the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery in Exeter for Michele's committal service at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michele's name to Project Arts West Bay, 158 Knight Street, Warwick, RI 02886, would be appreciated.
