Kenneth was born in Columbus, the son of Albert and Norma Mae Puckett.
He retired after 33 years of service from Cosco. He loved his family, friends and cars.
Survivors include his children, Angela J. Assman of Columbus, Kenneth A. Lucas, and Lela LaDawn Bowling of Franklin; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Vickie K. Myers of Texas; several nieces and nephews; and close family friends, Eric and Laura Hoehn, Clint Moore; and a special thanks to his hospice nurses and other attendants.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral service will be Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Virgil Clotfelter officiating.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 9:30 a.m. till time of service.
Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery.
In memory of Mr. Lucas memorial contributions may be given through the funeral home to Our Hospice or Bartholomew County Humane Society.

He worked on several lines for me at cosco.he was a very hard n good worker.i enjoy working with him .he will be greatly missed

Wow im.shocked I knowed Luke all my life.but hadn't heard from him in yrs.he used run around with my brother James Davis he was at our house day n nite.him n my. Brother was always cutting upn acting silly.it saddens me I hadn't got see Luke or even hear from him n yrs.my brothers n sisters loved him as well n myparents.my brothers are both gone to.im sooo srry sure be praying for you all n my prayers.he sure was a good guy n big hearted.my Das also worked at cosco.n my browns so close to Luke retired from.cummins he died of cancer as well.
