Kenneth J. Marr entered into eternal rest on Sunday May 5, 2024, at the age of 81. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, he resided in Baton Rouge. Loved by all who knew him, Kenneth was an incredible husband, father, and Poppy to his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He truly loved the Lord and instilled that love in his family. With his servant heart and joyful spirit, Kenneth was always happy to help anyone at any time. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cheering on the Tigers, and a good cup of coffee.
He is survived by his bride of 63 years Jan Meyer Marr and his children Dawn Marr Macia, Kenny Marr (Toni), and Kelli Marr Rayburn (Bobby). He is also survived by his sister Connie Marr Vandiver; granddaughters Alexia Macia McKinney (Devin), Haley Sloane Landry (Nicholas), Hunter Marr, and Stella Rayburn; and grandsons Jordan Clark (Bonnie), Casey Marr (Sara), Ryan Marr (Molly), Dylan Clark, Alex Marr, and Eli Rayburn; great-grandchildren Noah Clark, Blair Clark, Riley Marr, Ellie Marr, Tilly Jay Marr, Addison Clark, and Maverick Landry.
He is preceded in death by his parents Harold Marr and Stella D’aquin Marr, brothers Matthew M. Marr (Silvia) and Michael S. Marr, and daughter Tracy Marr Clark.
