70, departed this life Dec. 29, 2023. He was born Oct. 31, 1953, in Salem, MA. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Hartford.

As a successful account executive, he relocated to Louisville, KY. When the communications industry imploded, he became a financial counselor. Later, Ken chose a career that beckoned from a deeper place. Earning his Master of Social Work he served many clients with a caring heart, a sense of humor and endless movie quotes!

Ken was active in church music over 50 years and was a singer on the album "72 Hilltones." He directed youth handbell choirs and was active in handbell programs for over two decades.

In retirement, Ken and Dana adopted "Big Red" a 1979 Buick Electra Ltd. They had many adventures as active members of several antique auto clubs.

Ken is predeceased by his parents, Priscilla Whiting Roundy and Richard Saunders Martin, and brother, Gregory R Martin.

A beloved husband, father, "Papa Ken" and "GrampaKen" he is survived by his wife Dana Marie; four children, Jad-Uri Covington [Tori], Jaeryl Huelett [Brandon], James and Edward 'Teddy' Martin; three grandchildren; brother, Gary S Martin [Gia]; in-laws Michon and Skip Davis and Jerry Mudd; best friends and "brother and sister" of over 45 years, Jeff and Janet Levine; and beloved furry beast, Woof.
