Obituary of Kenneth Claire Miller
Kenneth C Miller passed away peacefully of natural causes on March 2, 2024. Ken was born in Ventura, CA and grew up in Kent, WA where he was a graduate of Kentridge High School, class of 1979. After graduation, Ken relocated back to Ventura, CA where he spent some time as a lifeguard at the local beaches and was also a volunteer firefighter for the Ventura Fire Department and Westworth Village Fire Department in Texas. In his early 20s, Ken made the move down to Fort Worth, TX where he began his long-term career as a truck driver and spent most of his time on the road. Ken was an avid lover of the outdoors, especially all things fishing and hunting. He loved to be casting a line whenever he had some time away from the road. Ken also enjoyed spending time with his love, Debbie, along with his children and grandchildren.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, Vernie Ward Calcagno and stepfather, Robert Terry Ward.
He is survived by his father, Fred Miller (Lenni) of Winnetka, CA; sister, Terry "Sissy" Michaud (Stephen) of Parker, CO; brother, Mike Ward (Robin) of Parker, CO; sister, Jennifer Chatin of Parker, CO; spouse, Deborah Bonness, of Elizabeth, CO; daughters, Sarah Marek (James) of Poulsbo, WA, Amanda Quintanilla (Larry) of Fort Worth, TX, Shawna Gutierrez (Ryan) of Fort Worth, TX, Rochelle Kelley of CO; sons, Kenneth Miller of Fort Worth, TX, Corkey Kelley of TN, Calico Bonness (Stacy) of Fort Worth, TX; and grandchildren, Mackenzie, Timothy, Hunter, Carissa, Chase, Aleigha, Apollo, Elizabeth, Laura, Alex, Doug, Kenneth, and William.
Private family viewing services will be provided by Thompsons & Son Funeral Home on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 5-8 p.m.
