Kenneth Mong Obituary
Kenneth J. Mong, 67, of Wadsworth, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026, at his home.
Kenny was born April 16, 1958, in Barberton, Ohio to Donald J. Mong and Janice L. {Robinson} Freese.
He married Penny Cromer on July 1, 1974; she survives.
Kenny was a truck driver for much of his life. He attended Crossroads Community Church in Wadsworth. Kenny enjoyed going to car shows, Mopar swap meets, drag races, and the Mopar Nationals in Columbus. He loved spending time with his friends, family, grandchildren and his great-grandchild.
Kenny will be deeply missed by his wife; children Janice (Lee) Dipolito, Julie (Wes) Shaw; grandchildren Caleb Dipolito, Candi (Stephen) Alvord, Daniel (Jenna) Shaw; great-grandchild Casen James Shaw (the love of his life); mother Janice Freese; and brother Donald J. Mong Jr.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call Thursday, March 5 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Newton officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
