MOSS, Mr. Kenneth Wayne "Smoove" - age 72, passed away Friday, July 25, 2025 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Royal Priesthood Ministries Church, 2518 Delaware Ave., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM Pastor Harold W. Britten Sr., officiating. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:00 AM Wednesday. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery, G-4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI. Mr. Moss will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 12:00 PM-6:00 PM, with family present 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM to receive friends. Kenneth Wayne Moss, 72 of Clio Michigan, passed July 25, 2025, at Hurley Medical Center. He was born February 7, 1953, in Benham Kentucky to the late Lester and Nannie (Hightower) Moss. Ken graduated from Flint Southwestern High School, "Class of 1971." He retired from General Motors Corporation with 34 years of service and was a member of Local UAW #598. Growing up Ken developed a love for sports. He played baseball and football. Last football season his favorite teams were, Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs. He enjoyed playing the lottery, going to the car wash to be with friends and driving his old vehicles with a shine that was spotted easily. Kenneth Wayne Moss leaves to cherish his memory: beloved wife of 40 years, Patricia Parker Moss; 8 children, daughters, Keshanda (Tony) Jones of Chandler Arizona, Kesha Harris of Flint Michigan, and Kyra Scott of Dallas, Texas; sons, Antuane Moss, Devin Moss, D'Andrae (Megan) Moss, and Damion Humes, all Flint Michigan; 26 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, William {Ester) Moss of Killeen Texas, Gregory Moss of Dayton Ohio, Curtis (Quanda) Moss, and Wendell Moss of Flint Michigan; sister, Lesterisha Rule of Monroe Michigan; sister-in-law, Valerie Moss of Indianapolis, Indiana; uncle, Edgar Moss of Detroit, Michigan; aunts, Jean Mason of Cleveland, Ohio and Patricia Smith of Kentucky; a host of cousins, family and friends including special lifetime friend, JT Turner. Kenneth was preceded in death by his son, Demetrius Moss; parents, Lester and Nannie Moss; stepmother, Rose Moss; brothers, James and David Moss.
