Mr. Kenneth Coyt Norris

Kenneth Coyt Norris, 91, of Lavonia, GA met his Lord and Savior on the morning of November 25, 2025. Born January 21, 1934, to Coyt and Gertrude Morris Norris. He was always a devoutly faithful man of God and lived his life with the Bible as his plan book.

He married the love of his life, Ann Bennett Norris, on January 17, 1953, and they were blessed with 56 years of marriage when she lost her brief cancer battle in 2011.

Kenneth graduated from Royston High School in 1950 and Emmanuel College in 1952. He was always a dedicated hard worker and completed his Bachelor's degree at the University of South Carolina during his career with Daniel Construction. In 1969 he began his work as a tax accountant at Norris and Associates in Lavonia, GA, where he worked until his retirement in late 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and mother of his children, Ann Bennett Norris; grandson, Dante Richard Norris; and sisters, Marjorie (Robert) Booth and Mary Helen Drake.

He is survived by his current wife of 9 years, Alma Wilson Norris; his children, Keith (Kathy), Mike (Lisa), Todd Norris and Kelly Norris; grandchildren, Katie, Ben, Alexis, Kayla, Ryan, Meghan, Jonathan, Zachary, Logan, and Cameron; cherished friend, Chip; as well as 18 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sister, Hilda (Jim) Cummins; and brother-in-law, Paul Drake; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services for Mr. Norris will be held in the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025, with Rev. Mitchell Brooks and Rev. Stanley Cole officiating. Interment will follow in the Bowers Memorial Park in Canon, GA.

His grandchildren, Ben, Ryan, Jonathan, Logan; great-grandson, Evan; and friend, Chip will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until funeral hour on Friday afternoon. During other times the family will be at their respective homes.
