Kenneth Lee Savant, 72, born and raised in Vidrine, entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Rosepine Retirement and Rehabilitation Center, Rosepine, LA.
Kenneth will be remembered for his devoted care of his disabled mother, his passion for cheering on the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers, and his legacy as an elite high school basketball player at Vidrine High School. He especially cherished the time spent cooking and barbecuing alongside his brother, Michael. In his final months, Kenneth made his home at Rosepine Retirement & Rehabilitation Center to be close to the grandchildren and great-grandchildren he adored. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Savant; his father, Nathan Savant; and his nephews, Jeremy Savant and Jacob Savant.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish one daughter, Heather Savant Fuselier (Jamie); one son, Joseph Savant; two brothers, Terry Savant (Loraine), and Michael Savant; three grandchildren, Haleigh, Trevor, and Abby; and three great grandchildren, Ezra, Eleanor, and Porter.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Rosepine Retirement & Rehabilitation Center and Brighton Bridge Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion during his time there.
