Kenneth William Schnabel

Kenneth William Schnabel was born on October 10, 1966, in Hackensack, New Jersey, to William and Nancy (Sedlack) Schnabel.
Ken graduated high school in 1985 and eventually moved to Geddes, SD, in 2000.
Ken's interest in cars started at an early age. He was always around cars during his growing up years. He started detailing cars when he was still in high school. Ken's early interest and love of cars led to him taking some schooling to learning how to repair and paint cars. In 2000 Ken started Hartland Auto Body where he showed his skill in making cars look like new.
Ken passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 57 due to a car accident.
Ken is survived by his parents William and Nancy Schnabel, his children Kenny Schnabel, William Schnabel, Anna Schnabel, Greg Jones and Ronny Jones, and one brother Brian Schnabel.

A Celebration of Life for Kenneth Schnabel, age 57, of Geddes, SD, was held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Mount-Smith Funeral Home in Platte, SD, with Pastor Dave Anderson officiating. Visitation was from 1- 2:30 pm with a sharing time at 2:30 pm. Casket Bearers were William Schnabel, Ron Jones, Greg Jones, and Lee Porter. Burial was in the Pleasant Lawn Cemetery in Geddes, SD.
