Kenneth Robert Shadbolt May 12, 1958 - Feb 6, 2026

Kenneth Robert Shadbolt was born on May 12, 1958 in Renton, WA to parents Herbert B. Shadbolt and Joanne L. (Campen) Shadbolt. He passed away peacefully at the age of 67 in Gig Harbor, WA on Feb 6, 2026.

Kenny spent his early life in Gig Harbor, later moving with his family to North Bend, OR in 1971. He graduated from Marshfield High School in 1978 after moving to Green Acres in 1972. Kenny was known as a hard worker, spending the bulk of his life in the food service industry and custodial work for school districts.

Kenny loved music and would spend hours listening to his favorites. He also enjoyed a good movie and was anxious to see the next big show. His movie reviews were generally spot on. He enjoyed going to church and attended many over the years. He often put his electronic knowledge to work on the church sound boards, which he loved to contribute. He was recently knighted Fourth Degree of Knights of Columbus, of which he was very proud.

Kenny lived in various places throughout his life but always insisted that Gig Harbor was his true home. He was well known in his community and was well recognized during his walks. Kenny never knew a stranger, they were always just a friend that he hadn't met before.

Kenny is survived by his siblings brother Bill L. Shadbolt and his wife Pam; sister Michelle L. Shadbolt; and her daughters,Tiffany, Jacquelynn and her husband Shane; brother Lee J. Shadbolt and his wife Mane; his uncle Carl H. Campen and wife Linda; half-aunt Rita C. (Campen) Rudder and John; as well as beloved step-siblings and many cherished cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and half brother Mark K. Stewart.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at St Nicholas Catholic Church with a private graveside service after.

Arrangements are under the care of Haven of Rest Funeral Home, Gig Harbor Washington (253) 851-9991.
