Kenneth Ray Shubert, a man whose light-hearted spirit and playful nature brought joy to everyone around him, passed away peacefully surrounded by love.
Born on Christmas Day in 1939 in Cordova, Alabama, Kenneth was a gift to all who knew him. His warmth, humor, and kindness made him truly unforgettable. More than anything, Kenneth loved his wife, his beloved "Joanie," with all his heart. Together, they built a beautiful life in Jasper, Alabama, where they raised their three wonderful children: Sonya, Scott, and Eric. Kenneth was a proud and devoted grandfather to Sarah, Jonathan, Erica, Alison, Andrew, and Macie and a cherished great-grandfather to Sawyer, Colton, Anna, Jackson, Jace, Harper, Lily, and Asa.
He is survived by his children, Sonya, Scott, and Eric; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and countless friends and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory.
Though he may no longer be with us in person, his spirit lives on in the stories, laughter, and love he shared so freely.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Eldridge Baptist Church for Operation Christmas Child.
A celebration of Kenneth's life will be held at Eldridge Baptist Church on Monday, April 7, 2025. All who knew and loved him are welcome to join in honoring his incredible life.
