Funeral service for Kenneth Max Slaten, 87, will be Sunday, June 22, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tony Tidwell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Slaten died on Friday, June 20, 2025 at his residence. He was born September 2, 1937, in Morgan County, to Robie Newt Slaten and Eva Grace Hardin Slaten.
He was employed for 48 years by various Propane Companies throughout his career, working in service and delivery, He loved everybody and enjoyed fishing. He was a wonderful husband, married to his wife, June, for 67 years, and was a great father, grandfather, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers- Edwin Joel Slaten and Dwight Ernest Slaten.

Wife - June Patton Slaten,
Sons - Byron Slaten (Kim), and
Jason Slaten (Mendy),
Daughter - Leesha Slaten Jones (Durwin),
Grandchildren - Adam Slaten (Danielle),
Cristie Lott (Ray),
Elizabeth Holladay (Victoria),
Brandy Widner (Chris),
Leslie Brewer (Jeremy),
Sophie Slaten, and
Abhi Slaten,
and Ten great grandchildren
