Ken Smith, known affectionately as "Kenny" or "Smitty" to many, passed away surrounded by love. He was a devoted husband to Tracy Smith, and a proud father to Ethan and Emily Smith.
Born and raised in Danvers, Massachusetts, Ken was the son of Angela Smith and the late Jim Smith and brother to Denise and Jimmy. He attended St. John's Prep, class of '79, where he formed lifelong friendships and a community he cherished. He went on to graduate from Providence College in 1983 and built a career in finance within the shoe industry, where he was admired for his dedication and strong work ethic.
While Ken took pride in his work, his true passions were found outside the office. Ken was involved with Danvers American Little League for 31 years, where he shared his lifelong love of baseball. He was someone who never hesitated to show up for the players he coached, the friends he loved, or his immediate family. Whether it was coaching a little league team, going on long bike rides, or offering a listening ear - Ken lived to support his family and friends with quiet strength and generosity.
