KENNETH DEAN SMITH, SR., 63, of Walsh, Illinois, passed away at 11:50 am, Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at his residence.
He was born to the late John Oakley and Pearl Smith on December 17, 1961, in East St. Louis, Illinois.
Kenneth found joy in his job as a painter.
Kenneth was an independent man who loved spending time with his children. He enjoyed the simple things in life and had a fondness for fragrant green herbs.
He was an Army Veteran.

It was Kenneth’s wish to be cremated.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Ratz Memorial Park, 603 W. Market Street, Red Bud, Illinois, at the main pavilion.
