Kenneth Soltis Obituary
Age 81, of Woodridge passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2026, with his family by his side. Born and raised in Chicago, and a resident of Woodridge since 1994. Ken was a Vietnam Airforce Veteran, member of The Goodtimers Club at Woodhaven Lakes, an avid Chicago teams' fan, and fond supporter of Boston College sports. Ken also enjoyed fishing and being in a pool league. Ken's humor and witty comments brought smiles to everyone he was with. His smile and laugh were contagious.
Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lillian (nee Gorski) Soltis; his siblings, Joseph Soltis, Patricia Erbach, and Thomas Soltis; and daughter, Leeann Yager.
Survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Claudia (nee Poremba) Soltis; children, Joseph Kubiak, and Robin Fowler; adored grandchildren, Courtney (Sam) Marcotte, Elizabeth Aduddell, Kenny Yager, Zac Yager, Melissa Yager, and Nicole Yager; 17 great grandchildren; and numerous cherished family members and friends.
Cremation Rites have been respectfully addressed, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

I am so deeply sorry for the loss of Ken. We have been neighbors for 9 years and he´s going to be missed so much! Myself and my family are going to miss our conversation in the hall or outside our building when we ran into each other! He always had a smile on his face and was such a friendly guy. I was having family stress and Ken could tell something was bothering me and was there for me and I will always appreciate that! RIP Ken you will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Ken´s entire family.
