Kenneth "Kenny" Joe Spencer, 56, of Jacksonville, FL passed away October 29, 2024. He was born May 25, 1968, in Sonora, CA to David and Velma Mae (Tapley) Spencer. Kenny graduated from Oroville High School in California and worked at Marriot Hotel as an Engineer Technician. He was a Deacon at his church and enjoyed being a foster parent. Kenny loved nature and was a keen outdoorsman. He was known as the BBQ grill master and an avid motorcycle enthusiast. Kenny enjoyed working with his hands, whether it be working in the garden or working with wood. He had a great sense of humor, big heart and a gentle and forgiving demeanor. Kenny will forever be remembered as being a great conversationalist and the massive love he would express to his family. Kenny was a loving and caring husband, father, son, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded by his father, David Wesley Spencer. Kenny is survived by his best friend and wife, Cynthia Cuyugan Spencer; children, Brooklynn Hope Cuyugan Spencer and Brayden Manuel Cuyugan Spencer; mother, Velma Mae Spencer; brother, Michael Laird Spencer and sister-in-law, Catherine Anne Spencer; niece, Chloe Elise Spencer; mother-in-law, Lucia Cuyugan of Jacksonville, FL; aunt, Delma Dennis of Elizabethton, TN; cousins, Dale Tapley and Royce Tapley of CA, Darla Salgado of CA, Adam Dennis of NC, Aaron Dennis of CO, Nathan Dennis of TN and extended family, Angie, Anthony and Brenda Snow of CA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Monday, November 4, 2024 in the Jacksonville Memory Gardens Chapel with Dr. Dan McLean officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until service time.
