Kenneth Edward Vibbert Sr, a cherished member of the Glasgow community, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the age of 65. He was born on July 10, 1959, in Glasgow, Kentucky, to the late Paul Vibbert and Helen Kingrey Vibbert who survives. Kenneth was a lifelong resident who embraced the values of family, faith, and the outdoors.
He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church, where he found solace and strength in his faith. Kenneth’s love for the outdoors was profound; he spent countless hours hunting and fishing, activities that brought him joy and provided treasured moments of connection with family and friends. He also had a passion for cooking, often sharing meals that were as good as they were filled with care and love.
Kenneth was a devoted family man, in addition to his mother, he is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn Vibbert, and his children: James Bragg (Bonnie), Kenneth Vibbert Jr., and Helen S. Vibbert. He took great pride in being a grandfather, leaving behind an enduring legacy through his grandchildren: Ashely Vibbert, Harper Morgan, Cassady Morgan, Corey Bragg, and Aaron Bragg (Brandi). He was also a great-grandfather to Cash Bragg, Maci Bragg, Remi Bragg, Willow Bragg, and Serenity Cassady, who will fondly remember their time with him. He also leaves behind his siblings Martha Miller and her husband James, Marcella Green, and Danny Vibbert and his wife Lisa that will truly miss him. Kenneth also will be remembered by several nieces and nephews that he cherished dearly.
In addition to his father, Kenneth joins in eternal rest several loved ones who have preceded him, his son, Billy Cassady; and his grandparents, Med Kingrey, Nettie Kingrey, Thomas Vibbert, and Martha Vibbert.
Kenneth Edward Vibbert will be deeply missed by all who knew him, remembered for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family. His spirit will live on in the lives he touched and the memories he created.
Services for Kenneth will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 23, 2025, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, beginning at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and Sunday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
