Kenneth R. Willis
Lifelong Chandler resident and chiropractor, Kenneth Russell Willis, left this earthly life at the age of 86, on December 14, 2025 in Chandler, AZ. He was born September 19, 1939 to Charles Henry and Fern Russell Willis in Mesa, AZ at the Dana Maternity Home. He was one of eight children: Reed (Janis) Willis, Dale (Tammy) Willis, Jay Willis, Golda (Brooks) Norton, Carol (Howard) Gale, Lanell Willis, Dwight (Yodit) Willis. Ken grew up on the family farm, working alongside his father and brothers raising cattle, growing cotton, alfalfa, and other feed crops. It was on the farm that he learned the importance of hard work.
Ken went to Chandler Schools and graduated from Chandler High in 1957. He attended Arizona State then onto Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa where he graduated in 1964.
His professional career and Doctor of Chiropractic was spent in Chandler, Arizona where he helped many people. He loved to visit with people and had many friends and acquaintances. Ken also had many interests in photography, health, exercise, computers and reading.
Ken is survived by his sisters Golda (Brooks) Norton, Carol (Howard) Gale, and brother Dwight (Yodit) Willis. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Charles and Fern, his sister Lanell, and his brothers Reed, Dale, and Jay.
A Graveside and Interment will be held Friday, January 30, 2026 at 1:00pm at the Valley of the Sun Cemetery, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, AZ 85248.
