Kenneth L. Wilson Sr., 90, of Henderson KY., formerly of Newburgh, IN., went to be with our LORD and Saviour, Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at the Deaconess Gateway Heart Hospital in Newburgh. He was born April 3, 1932, in Gibson County, Indiana to the late Ora and Lillie (Reed) Wilson.
Kenneth worked as a shift supervisor for Alcoa and farmed. He attended Wayside Chapel Church in Chandler IN. and was a member of the Odd Fellows.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mildred (Collins) Wilson, sisters, Grace (John) McDonald, Mary (Jimmy) Williams, Jewel (Donald) Larkins.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Garnett)Wilson, son, Kenneth Wilson, Jr. (Diane); son, Thomas Wilson; daughter, Jill Robinson (John); stepchildren; Dave Simon (Phyllis), Danny Simon (Yvette), Eddie Simon (Jennifer), grandchildren; Jennifer and Robert Johnson, Danielle Burke, Ashley and Mike Benner, Jacob and Sabrina Burke, Steven and Amanda Simon, Randall and Selena Simon, Dawne and David Fitzgerald, Stephanie Simon, Tanner and Stephanie Simon, Kayla and James Madden, great grandchildren; Riley and Cole Johnson, Lucas Burke, Jonathan Roebling, Clara and Oliver Benner, Arabella, Jacob Jr., and Atticus Burke, Toby and Dallas Fitzgerald, Harper and Clark Simon, Gavin Holder, Tyler Simon, Jochlyn Simon, Olivia Simon, Addison Martindale, April Simon, Hunter Simon, Layla Simon, Avery Simon, Randall Simon, Jr.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., Sunday, March 19, 2023 with an Odd Fellows service to begin at 4:30 p.m. and a funeral service immediately following at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, Ind., (812) 853-8314.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 20, 2023 at the Decker Chapel Cemetery, Cty. Rd. N. 175 E./E. 400 N. Patoka IN. 47666.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Decker Chapel Cemetery Fund and/or St. Jude Hospital.
