Kenneth John Yearley, affectionately known to his family and many friends as Kenny, passed away peacefully in his hometown of New Lenox, IL on February 24, 2024.
He was born on November 13, 1954, in the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago, IL to the late John and Mildred (nee Budd) Yearley.
Loving husband of Pam (nee Fornaciari) Yearley; loved nephew, uncle, cousin, brother-in-law, and friend of many.
Ken was raised in Riverdale, IL and graduated in 1972 from Thornton High School. He has been married to the love of his life Pammy for nearly 42 years. Ken worked in the auto industry for most of his life and retired from his AAMCO Transmission business in South Holland. He was a member of the Riverdale, IL and New Lenox, IL Lions Clubs and the Sons of the American Legion in New Lenox, IL.
Being extremely outgoing, Ken had many friends. He loved to play golf, was an excellent cook and enjoyed watching the Cubs, Bears, Notre Dame, and Indy racing. Ken also enjoyed music, DJing, and bartending. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers donations to the family for for a Memorial Bench and Memorial Tree in Kenny's name, at The Sanctuary Golf Course in New Lenox, IL, would be appreciated.
The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd. on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 2:00pm until time of Funeral Service at 6:00pm. Interment will be private.
The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
