Kennith "Kenny" Suiters, 62, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025.
Kenny was born on March 6, 1963, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Cloamae and William Suiters. He grew up in the Fountain Square neighborhood, where he spent much of his youth at the Gorman Boys Club on English Avenue. It was there he formed friendships and memories that stayed close to his heart throughout his life.
Kenny shared many wonderful years with Denise Suiters, and together they raised three beautiful daughters who were the light of his life. Family was everything to Kenny. He loved nothing more than spending time with his girls-coaching their basketball and softball teams, cheering them on at games, and watching them grow into strong, caring women. Some of his happiest moments were spent simply being together-sitting outside, fishing, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. His daughters will forever remember his patience, encouragement, and the way he made every moment together special.
Kenny found tremendous joy in being "Papaw" to his grandsons. Whether it was playing, laughing, or simply being present with them, he adored every second spent with Brian, Honor, and eagerly awaiting the arrival of his third grandson, Henry. His love for his family was endless, and he made sure they always knew how proud he was of them.
Many in the community will remember Kenny from his years running Skip's Food Market on the corner of Virginia and Woodlawn, where he greeted everyone with kindness and a friendly smile. He was someone who never met a stranger and always had a story to share.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Cloamae and William Suiters, and his sister Dianna (Johnny).
He is survived by his three beloved daughters: Brittany (Jessica), Brooke (Brandon) Baylea (Keaton), and; his adored grandsons, Brian, Honor, and soon-to-arrive Henry, who will carry on his legacy; and his loving siblings: William (Tina), Harry (Betty), Donald (Debra), Rosemarie (Tom), Paul (Anita), and Phillip (Jeanie).
'
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kenny's life on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory – Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main Street, Greenwood. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Kenny will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery.
Kenny will be remembered for his big heart, his love of family, and his ability to make everyone feel welcome. His laughter, warmth, and gentle spirit will live on in all who were blessed to know him.

I'm at a loss for words. This is not how things are suppose to work. I should not be here reading my little bothers obituary. Kenney little brother the last child born to our family the one who always wanted to do and be better in his life. As we grew up together you Phil and myself always remained close. Not having you here anymore will be very tough. It always seems that when we needed each other we were there for each other. I watched you grow from a special child to a special man. A man that knew what he wanted in life and how to get it. Always fun to be around his laughter was genuine and his heart was good. I know your faith was strong and that you are in the loving arms of our heavenly father it does not make it any easier knowing that I will not see your smile or hear your voice again until god calls me home. I will mis you little brother and always keep your memory alive. My favorite picture of us is when we were at mom and days apartment. I can't remember what was said but the picture is now priceless and I shall cherish if for the rest of my life. I love you brother rest easy we got this now.
