It's with heavy hearts that we share the news of Kenneth Green's passing on April 22, 2025. Born on November 6, 1948, Kenny lived a life full of love, laughter, and a dedication to helping others. A proud Vietnam veteran, he carried his experiences with grace and openness, touching countless lives throughout his journey.
Kenny was a loving father to his children- Nickie Croley, Jennifer Derryberry, Preston Green, and Lillith Carson-and adored grandfather to his grandchildren, Olivia Linley, Evan Morris, Scarlett Evans, Marcus Green, Adrienne Rogers, Brody Carson. He lived for his family and instilled in them the importance of being kind and open-minded individuals.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Green; mother Mary Grayson Green, his sister, Judy Green Rohr, and grandchildren Elizabeth Taylor and Noah Taylor who will welcome him with open arms.
Known for his intelligence and sharp wit, Kenny had a knack for making others smile. He enjoyed playing poker, collecting coins and guns, and was often found lost in a good book. He spent many fulfilling years as a counselor at Buffalo Valley, where he helped countless individuals navigate their challenges and find paths to brighter futures.
Memorial Service will be Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
