Kenny E. Keilman went on to be with the Lord on Friday, January 9, 2026, surrounded by his family at his home. He was born February 5, 1933, in Louisville, KY. Kenny was 92 years old. His parents were Jesse E. Keilman and Marjorie T. Witten Keilman.
He is preceded in death by his parents and by his siblings, Clifford Keilman, Charlie Keilman, William "Little Billy" Keilman, JoAnn Burger, and Peggy Hobson. Kenny was the last of his family to pass. The circle is now unbroken. Kenny leaves behind his only one true love, Linda Lou Flock Keilman; his three daughters, Sherre Lynn Bewick (Ken), Sheila Mae Vessels (Jeff), and Shelly Jo Smith (Ken).
Kenny and Linda were married for 70 years. Kenny was retired from Courier Journal and Standard Gravure after 42 years. Linda loved and raised their three daughters, and Kenny proudly served in the US Navy in 1952 during the Korean War. He attained the Yeoman Third Class. Kenny was proud to have served sixteen years on the New Albany City Council. He also served on the New Albany Police Commission and Floyd County Police Merit Board. He is a member of First Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge #39.
Wednesday, January 14, 2026, a visitation will be held from 12:00 pm-8:00 pm, at Naville & Seabrook Funeral Home, 1846 E. Oak Street, New Albany, IN 47150, as well as on Thursday at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral ceremony at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow at SCI-Kraft Graceland Memorial. In lieu of flowers Kenny has requested donations be made to Kosair Children's Hospital, 231 E Chestnut St., Louisville, KY 40202.
