Loving Memory of Kenneth Ray "Kenny" Higdon 1954-2025
Kenneth Ray Higdon, 71, of Mount Washington, KY passed away on September 16, 2025 at Audubon Norton Hospital.
Kenny was born on July 22, 1954 to the late Luther G. Higdon and Virginia C. Johnson. Kenny attended grade school in Louisville, KY and graduated in 1973 from Western High in Louisville, KY. Kenny worked for Kroger, International Harvester and worked at Carbide Industries for over 20 years and retired in 2015 from Union Carbide Industries. Kenny enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, fishing, yard work and spending time with his family.
Kenny is survived by his wife Christine Granberry-Higdon, Mount Washington, KY, daughter Katina Higdon, stepchildren, Karl D. Graham Jr., Mt Washington, KY, Nakia V. Graham (Christina), Kansas City, KS, Angela L. Hyser (Mark), Canton, OH, siblings, Lovie Baker, Fairdale, KY, Garland Higdon (Pat), Shepherdsville, KY, Douglas Higdon, GreenValley, AZ, Doris Chancellor, J-Town,KY, Sharon Winstead, Jeffersonville, IN, Brenda Wimsatt, Scottsburg, IN and seven step grandchildren, Makayla, Natalie, Carson, Christian, Gavin, Madison
and Bella. Also he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
