Kenova Carrol Buccilla

Kenova "Carrol" Buccilla (nee Adams),78, of Canal Winchester, OH, passed away peacefully on October 6th, 2025, with her daughters by her side.

Carrol was born in McRoberts, Kentucky on March 20th, 1947, the second of four children. Her upbringing was very modest and didn't have indoor plumbing until her family moved to Ohio when she was in the third grade. She lived in Whitehall, Ohio and graduated from Whitehall High School in 1965. She began working for Western Electric (eventually AT&T) and retired after 30 years of service. She met her husband Rod while at Western Electric and they were married for 45 years.

Carrol is survived by her sister Janie Stodola (nee Adams), daughter Brandie Malay Siavelis (the late Peter Jon), step-daughter Debra Dean Buccilla-Lockett (Scott), step-son Todd Buccilla (Lisa), step-son Jerry (Lesley) and step-son Kent (Amy). Nephews Michael, Josh, Matt, Chaz and Cory. Grandchildren Greyson, Conrad, Emily, Elle, Jamie, Jessie, Kyla, Kassy, Brianna, Gino, Helena, Josh, Casey and Amanda along with several great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband Rodney Boyer Buccilla, her parents Venova and Andrew Adams, brothers Jimmy Adams (Diane) and Ray Adams as well as her son-in-law Peter Jon Siavelis.

Carrol was always dancing and having a good time. She was the life of the party and never met a good cheeseburger with an ice cold Diet Coke she didn't like. Most will remember her for her laugh, wild fashion style and devotion to her husband and family.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in her honor to the following foundation:

Carrol's love of life and infectious laughter will live on in all who knew her. May she rest in peace and finally be dancing in heaven with her husband Rod.
