Kent Garinger Obituary

Kent was born on May 19, 1952, in Winchester, the son of Richard and Waneta (Reitenour) Garinger. He was a 1970 graduate of Portland High School. In 1977 he married the love of his life, Lisa Marie Rogers.
For many years Kent was a aircraft mechanic for Muncie Aviation He also owned two auto parts stores for many years, one in Dunkirk and one in Hartford City. He was a long-time member of Grace Baptist Church where he was the organist and sang.
Kent is survived by his wife, Lisa Garinger; children, Silas (Amy) Garinger, Bethany (Tim) McLean, and Aaron (Lauren) Garinger; six grandchildren; sisters, Suzie Twigg and Debra Edwards.
Kent was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Waneta Garinger.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Grace Baptist Church, 6401 River Road, Muncie with Pastor Rory Bond officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date.
Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Grace Baptist Church, 6401 River Road, Muncie.
All arrangements are entrusted to The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel and online condolence may be left for the family at www.meeksmortuary.com
