Kent Jerome Haugland, 63, passed away on May 9, 2025. Kent was born in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, on May 10, 1961.
Kent graduated from Milton High School in 1979. During high school, he played golf, snowmobiled, and worked on a dairy farm. He spent most of his life as an owner/operator starting his own business in 1993.
He married Michelle Curtis in 1990. Together they had three children.
Kent enjoyed golfing and he was a member of the men’s league golf association. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and snowmobile racing.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Symbii Hospice team and family and close friends.
Kent is survived by his son, Braxten Haugland of Pocatello, Idaho; daughter, Brailee Martinez of Pocatello, Idaho; son, Gus Haugland of Pocatello, Idaho; his loving ex-wife, Michelle Curtis of Pocatello, Idaho; sister, Kim Friedrichs of Wisconsin; brother, Brian Haugland of Wisconsin; brother, Brad Haugland of Minnesota; and three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerome L. Haugland and Joan P. Nelson Haugland.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
