Never had the opportunity to meet his children or even know him as adult but have lovely memories of him as a very shy & sweet boy. Our mom always was amused when he visited or she baby sat the group of us cousins as he would only eat peanut butter sandwiches..nothing else...and he had to watch as they were prepared. He was very specific. When she asked why, as he ate other food when the family was together, he simply explained that peanut butter was the only food he trusted that no one could mess up, and so she always made him those peanut butter sandwiches. I remember he liked the water & water sports & we all had great times when our "US" family came visiting at the cottage. He will always be that young boy to us.
