Jerry Laverne Bodie
April 1, 1951 – May 15th, 2025
Jerry Laverne Bodie, a longtime resident of Mission Hills in Rancho Mirage, California, passed away on May,15th. Born on April 1, 1951, Jerry lived most of his life between Iowa and California, leaving a lasting impression wherever he went with his charm, wit, and larger-than-life personality.
Jerry was a charismatic businessman known for his effortless ability to connect with people and light up any room. A natural storyteller and entertainer, he even worked for Elvis Presley-an experience that perfectly matched his legendary personality. His greatest joy, however, was his beloved dog Mick, his most loyal companion and closest friend.
He is survived by his brothers Michael Bodie and Clifford Bodie; his sister Patricia Laducer; his nephews Todd and Scott Laducer, Cliff Bodie; and his niece and goddaughter, Stefanie Bodie.
Jerry's presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. His memory lives on in every story shared, every laugh remembered, and every life he touched.
