Kent Tuttle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Powell Funeral Home of Bradford on Nov. 6, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Kent Stedman Tuttle, 80, of Cherokee Village, formerly of Bradford, went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 3, 2025. He was a member of the Ward Street Church of Christ in Hardy, AR where he enjoyed discussing the bible with his friend Kevin. Kent was the epitome of a Godly man and an example for all to follow. He never complained and loved serving others.
Kent was born on August 22, 1945, to Henry and Dorothy Tuttle in Rupert, Idaho. After Kent graduated from high school, he became a man of many traits. Anyone that knew Kent, knew that he was a hard worker. He started his career as a meat cutter and was a meat cutter for many years. He was a Phoenix tool representative and held positions in law enforcement. Kent was an entrepreneur owning multiple businesses in upholstery, convenience stores, and construction. Even after he retired, Kent was still everyone's favorite Handy Man.
In 1982, Kent met Glenda, the love of his life. They were introduced by Larry Kimberling, Glenda's brother-in-law and Kent's friend. And as they say, the rest is history. Kent and Glenda were married for 43 years. As best friends, they did everything together. They enjoyed taking their family and friends on boat rides. If you ask his nieces and nephews, he also enjoyed throwing them off the big yellow banana boat on Heber Lake. Early on in life, Kent loved racing cars and was pretty good at it if the size of his trophies was any indication. Kent loved fishing, cooking, gardening, showing and judging antique cars, and riding his Can Am with his best friend Ken. He was a master at remodeling and had the creative insight to build anything he could imagine.
Kent was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Dorothy Tuttle; sisters, Karlotta Garner and Linda Victory; and infant son, Christopher Tuttle. He is survived by his loving wife, Glenda of Cherokee Village, AR; daughters, Brandi Burke of Little Rock, AR and Angela Callan; brothers-in-law, Sonny Victory of Benton, AR and Gene McSpadden (Louise) of Searcy, AR; sisters-in-law, Sada McSpadden of Bradford, AR, Mary Kimberling of Evansville, IN; nephews and nieces, Hank Victory, Glen Rae, Crystal Garner, David McSpadden Sr. (Karen), Regena Stalnaker (Sean), Michael McSpadden, Susan Laine (John), Ledena Stephens (David), Becky Posey, Jennifer Walls, Debbie McSpadden, and may more great nephews and nieces and James Hickmon who he thought of as a son.
Visitation will be held at Bradford Church of Christ, Bradford, AR, on November 10, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Immediately following, a Memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm celebrating the life of Kent S. Tuttle.
