Keon Bennett, Jr., 23, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Monday, March 27, 2023. He was born on January 7, 2000, a son of Donshia Smith and Keon Bennett, Sr. Deshawn was the name only his mama could call him, loved and known as Keon by family and friends.
He attended North College High School. Keon was baptized at an early age. Keon loved doing new and adventurous things, especially with his sons he loved having fun. One of his favorite things was sitting on the lake fishing with his beer. Keon loved music, singing and dancing. He was able to record a couple of his songs. Keon loved the colors red and black. He enjoyed grilling out and talking on the family chat while watching the Bengals every Sunday.
Keon leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Donshia Smith and Keon Bennett, Sr.; fiancee, Kelsi Grooms; sons, Ka'marion, Kaesen, and Ki'land; siblings: Lyala, Keona, Nathan, Diamond, Aniyah, Montez, Marquis, and Jedalei; grandmother, Antoinette Feagin; great-grandparents, Carol Smith, Roosevelt and Pauline Varner; four very special friends: Shawn, Connor, Jayshon, and Anthony; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marlette Varner and Ernest Ray Smith, Jr.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Christ Temple Apostolic Faith, 325 North Wayne Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45215. Interment: Walnut Hills Cemetery.

I grew up around you and your cousins and I can truly say you were an amazing person. You always were smiling and happy and I´m sad to see you go. The pain is over, rest easy and sleep well King. Sending my love to the family, friends and especially his sister, mother, fiancée and babies.
